Vitor Roque is set to leave Barcelona this summer as the Brazilian striker is not in coach Hansi Flick’s plans. With the Blaugrana sporting director Deco travelling to Portugal to negotiate a deal for the 19-year-old with Sporting Lisbon.
Both Bournemouth and Everton have previously made enquiries to Barcelona about the possibility of signing Vitor Roque. But the player is keen to stay in Spain if possible, with Real Betis also interested.
Real Betis have reportedly sent representatives to the Catalan capital to hold talks with Barcelona over a deal for Vitor Roque. In a move that parallels talks with Borussia Dortmund over Youssoufa Moukoko.
Real Betis are trying to sign Vitor Roque on loan with an option to make the move permanent. But Barcelona are unlikely to accept the offer. Sporting have reportedly reached an agreement with Barcelona for an initial payment of €20m plus €10m in bonuses. The same total as the €30m the Blaugrana paid for the player from Atletico Paranaense in January.
