Satisfy Western food lovers with this easy mashed potato recipe. Smooth and soft texture, paired with a rich, rich mashed potato sauce.

Ingredients: Mashed Potatoes

  1. 1.5 kg of potatoes
  2. 1 tablespoon salt
  3. Unsalted butter (diced) 75 grams 
  4. 1/2 cup (125 ml) heavy cream
  5. 2/4 cup (185 ml.) fresh milk
  6. ground black pepper UFABET

Gravy Ingredients

  1. 1 chicken soup cube
  2. 1 beef soup cube
  3. 2+1/4 cups (565 ml.) boiling water
  4. 60 grams of unsalted butter
  5. 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  6. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder or garlic powder
  7. 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  8. Salt, seasoning

How to make mashed potatoes?

     1. Peel and cut the potatoes into approximately 1-inch dice.

     2. Put the potatoes in the pot. Put in the salt. Add enough water to cover the potatoes by about 2 inches.

3. Turn on the heat and boil until boiling for about 15 minutes or until the potatoes are softened. Turn off the heat.

     4. Filter out the water with a strainer and set aside for 3 minutes.

     5. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add cream and milk. Cook until it starts to boil gently. Remove from heat.

     6. Place the potatoes in a potato masher. Or mash the potatoes through a sieve until smooth.

     7. Add the cream mixture to the mashed potatoes. Follow with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper. Mix until smooth. Taste as desired.

How to make gravy?

     1. Add both types of soup cubes to the boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.

     2. Melt unsalted butter in a pan over medium heat.

     3. Add flour, onion powder (or garlic powder) and ground black pepper. Stir to mix together.

     4. Slowly pour in half of the soup mixture. Stir the mixture constantly until it forms a roux (Roux) or a thick, viscous creamy texture. Then add the remaining soup ingredients and stir until combined.

     5. Continue mixing for another 1.30-2 minutes until the mixture becomes thick again. Taste and season as you like.

     6. Spoon and pour over the prepared mashed potatoes.
