Nico Paz is enjoying his time at Como under Cesc Fabregas and wants to stay at the club for at least another year.
Nico Paz’s father Pablo Paz insists his son is happy at Como after playing regularly under Cesc Fabregas and should be given the chance to play for the Italian club for at least another year, Calciomercato.com reported on Saturday.

‘He likes everything here, the team, the group and the people. I agree with him too. Of course there are big things to deal with but it’s right to stay here for another year,’ Pablo said of his son’s future.
Nico Paz’s father then revealed that it was not just his idea. But his son’s wish as well, especially considering that he is enjoying his role in Europe’s top leagues.
‘I think if you ask Nico what he wants to do. He would definitely want to stay at Como for another year because he feels comfortable and happy. And with Fabregas it’s like doing a master’s degree at university.’
Pablo also revealed that Nico chose to sign for Como last summer despite his son having several options. ‘There were at least four other options, including Fiorentina and Stuttgart, but we really liked the Como project.’
‘Fabregas was very influential because he spoke to us and made it clear. That Nico would have the opportunity to play the way he wanted. Talking to Cesc was important.’
